What kind of Roof rack will fit my 1997 Geo tracker 4 door?
I have no idea what kind of roof rack will fit, so its hard to look into buying one! my tracker has little "rain gutters" running the length of the car on top with small flexible plastic sticking up about 2 inches. i would prefer a basket rack, but does that mean i need those crossbars first? and what kind will mount to my roof? any help would be great! i have no clue where to start!! thanks!
Thule makes a foot kit for use with rain gutters. With a set of 4 feet and a pair of cross bars, you can create a roof rack. Once you have the rack, you can add just about any basket that will work with Thule load bars. Check around for Thule feet part #300. Here's a picture.

Yakima also makes a foot kit for rain gutters their part # 00101. Again you'll need a set of 4 feet and a pair of properly sized cross bars. Once again, after you install this rack, you can use just about any basket that is compatible with Yakima cross bars. Here's a picture of Yakima's version.
