How does the Dewey Decimal System work, please read description?

I understand what the first 3 digits are for, but what I can't find is what each decimal designates. I'm just going to make this up: 110.45. So 110 is Metaphysics, but what does .45 mean? Is there a chart for this?

You need the Dewey books to learn this. It can be quite complicated.
