what is a good electronic drum kit metal cymbal?

Hey all, I've got an ok starter kit and brain (ion drum rocker+roadie upgrade kit) and I'm not very happy with the DD-502 Hi-Hat Cymbal Pad plastic/rubbery feel...it really throws my rhythm off with the clack clack clacking and I'm looking to get something a bit more authentic. I've looked at Alesis Surge and Smarttrigger (one and the same now??) but i'm unsure. Any insight into this fairly niche area on what's a good metal cymbal for electronic drums? I'd love to get something with a choke that is very responsive.

I have the Roland CY-12H for my hi-hat and am very happy with it even though it is rubber, i believe it is discontinued but i'm sure you can pick one off ebay. Along with mesh drum pads for my snare and bass triggers you can play grooves comfortably and really feel the difference than playing on the original rubber pads.
