How do I run an electrical wire inside the length of a concrete (block) wall?

So I have a wall that is about 5 feet in width which butts up to my garage on one end and the other end of the wall butts up to my iron gate entry. I want to install a 12v DC eletric strike so I can open the entry gate from the inside of my house. My problem is that I want to be able to run a small wire for the 12v electric strike through the length of this concrete wall into my garage for access to the outlet. Is there a way to drill through the wall lengthwise? Do they make drill bits that are over 5 feet?
