I installed a 3,8x1,2flood safe lines . when I turned the shut valve on the line blew off ast the line end. T

The flood safe line blew off when Shut Off valve was opened. connector nut was not over the snap ring. what a mess . Water everywhere.

If you used the pliers to tighten the connections , they will get damaged and from what you describing that's what happened. They are to be hand tightened only, unlike regular connectors. I had my father in law(man never reads the instructions) install those for me and he just killed them.
